Step 1: Spray the dinosaurs gold
Do this outside or in a well-ventilated garage/basement. Coat one side at a time, wait 1 minute and flip them to coat the second side. Let them dry for 1-2 hours before the next step.
Step 2: Glue on the thumbtacks
Using E6000 glue (hot glue doesn’t work very well!) dab a bit of glue on the back of a tack and stick it on a flatter portion of the dino. Make sure you will be able to push the pushpin into a board or the card. Let dry for at minimum 6 hours, better if you can wait 12+!
Step 3: Measure and cut the cardboard
Find a piece of flat cardboard and cut a 7.5” by 7.5” square. Save the scraps for another step.
Step 4: Print and adhere the card
Print one (or both!) of the cute dino cards. Then cut it out and use double-sided tape or a glue stick to adhere it to your cardboard square.
Step 5: Add the dinosaurs and secure them
Poke the dinosaurs through the card where you would like them to be displayed. Turn the card around and tape an extra scrap of cardboard over the pin to keep the dino in place and not poking out.
